Y Cartws is a former cart house which has been converted into a character stone cottage. It is close to the Preseli Hills and within easy reach of the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline. Explore the beautiful sandy beaches along over 180 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, offering stunning scenery and the opportunity to spot breathtaking wildlife.

The nearest town is Narberth where you will find stylish, independent boutiques and a fab choice of restaurants and cafes. You could spend a day out here visiting the museum, vineyard or browsing through the music shops.

There are many family friendly attractions within driving distance. These include Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Colby Woodland Gardens and Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort. Y Cartws has been approved under the Visit Wales Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome schemes so it’s ideal for family holidays, groups of walkers and those who love cycling.

Y Cartws is on a working sheep farm which Paul, Eirlys and their family are the seventh generation of the same family to have farmed there. They look forward to giving you a warm welcome at the cottage

Accommodation :
The entrance is into a fully fitted kitchen / dining room with a range of modern shaker style units incorporating a dishwasher, gas cooker, fridge freezer, automatic washing machine and a microwave oven. The dining area has a large table and 6 chairs. Next to the kitchen there is a drying room where the central heating boiler is situated together with drying rails and coat rack. The sitting room has 2 two seater leather sofas, armchair, coffee table, colour tv with dvd player and a bookcase with a selection of books, dvd's and games.

The wooden staircase leads to the 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, built in wardrobe, bedside tables, chest of drawers and a lovely full length window offering pastoral views.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds and a further pull out bed (there is ample space for all beds), bedside tables, chest of drawers and a wardrobe on the landing.

All the beds are made up with fresh linen for your arrival and also towels are supplied, however they are for use in the cottage not to be taken as beach towels. A standard cot, highchair and a stair gate are all available. The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, WC and a wash hand basin. There is full oil central heating throughout the property, this is in included from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £20.00 from October to April.

There is a picnic table and seating bench at the front of the cottage, guests are welcome to take a stroll through our land as long as you ask permission. Plenty of parking for 2 cars.

No smoking in the cottage.
