About Number 6

A short stroll from Oxwich Bay's award-winning beach, this 2-bedroom holiday bungalow is perfect for a family or group of 4. Set in the landscaped grounds of Oxwich Leisure Park it offers coastal themed bedrooms and a sunny patio area.

Offering the best of both worlds, savour the peace and tranquillity of this idyllic Gower location or head for Oxwich beach offering a host of water sports along its 2-mile stretch.

Flanked by sand dunes and woodland, this magnificent bay was once awarded the accolade of 'the most beautiful in Britain' by The Travel Magazine.

By facing south east, the waters are particularly calm. It's also well served with a car park, a small store, fish and chip shop and tea room. There are public toilets plus a hotel aptly named 'The Oxwich Bay' at one end serving lunches and dinner, and a stylish restaurant called 'The Beach House' which is under the new ownership of some well-respected local restaurateurs.

During high season a water sports club operates from the beach with everything from doughnut rides to windsurfing and sailing - there's even a water taxi called the Gower Explorer for those wishing to venture further. And there are plenty of walks too, across woodland or to other amazing bays including Port Eynon and neighbouring Tor Bay and Three Cliffs.
