About May Tree Cottage
The barn conversion was subject to the latest high level of insulation standards and because of its south facing aspect is very cosy and energy efficient. All the doors are wide enough for wheel chairs and the switch and socket positions are also designed for wheel chair users. The cottage is situated approximately 140 yards from the country lane and approximately 100 yards up its private drive from the main house. Guests are therefore assured of complete privacy and peace.
Facilities in the cottage include a TV/DVD, CD player, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, built in electric oven and LPG hob and microwave.. The bathroom has a bath with separate shower cubicle. Outside there is a paved patio with a picnic bench, BBQ and rotary line. Sun loungers are available.
Penyrheol Farm is no longer a working farm and visitors can have the pleasure of walking around our fields. Guests may bring their dogs/cats by arrangement. One of our stables has been converted into a heated kennel so that guests can leave their dog with us should they want an away day. Longer term and weekend break rates are available.
