About Flat Above The Old Posthouse
The Old Posthouse is a first floor apartment in a central village location in Cilgerran Pembrokeshire. A short walk takes you down to the Teifi gorge with its riverside walks and picnic area. Cilgerran village is famous for its 13th century ruined castle perched high above the gorge.
The village also has a popular wildlife centre, a canoe centre, 3 pubs which serve food, a Chinese takeaway as well as two village shops, a children’s park and the Castle Kitchen restaurant.
Ideal for couples and families, The Old Posthouse is conveniently located to the attractions of West Wales including small seaside villages and many sandy beaches.
Cardigan is a 5 minute drive from Cilgerran or can be reached by a popular walk through the wildlife centre. The market town is on the mouth of the River Teifi and has the usual amenities including shops, banks, restaurants, supermarkets, pubs, nightclub, swimming pool, leisure centre plus 'Teifimania' a children’s indoor play centre.
Accommodation
The Old Posthouse sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with twin beds. The bathroom has a separate shower, corner bath, wash basin and toilet.
The large living room has comfortable seating and a large TV with DVD player.
The kitchen diner has a fully fitted kitchen (including electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher) and a dining table for six.
Outside
The entrance door is set back off a side road which leads down to the Teifi riverside walks and picnic area. There are 3 steps up to the entrance hall and one flight of stairs up to the apartment which is above the small village store - pop down for your morning croissants! Parking is available on the quiet street.
