The apartment has an elevated position providing a vista over Haverfordwest Golf Club, giving it its name. You can also see for miles into the surrounding stunning Pembrokeshire countryside.
It was originally built in the 1970’s for the Steward and Stewardess of the Golf Club, but in 2020 it was lovingly transformed from ‘Steward’s quarters’ into a comfortable and spacious flat with a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom.
Nestled in the golf club just off the A40, the apartment is ideally located as a base for exploring the whole of St Davids peninsula and beyond. Newgale, Broad Haven and Nolton Haven are all within a 20 minute drive. Whitesands, Abercastle, Tenby, Dale and Marloes are all around 30 mins away. If you’ve already visited those areas and want to go further afield it’s a great central location to explore Fishguard, Goodwick, Freshwater East and West, Manorbier, Barafundle or Broad Haven South.
The flat opens onto a light and spacious hallway with ample space to leave shoes, wellies, boots, sandals, or multiple coats; whatever is needed for your holiday in Pembrokeshire. At the end of the hallway there is a spacious open plan lounge with a TV, desk area and reclining sofas and chairs. The dining area comfortably seats six people at the large wooden table. The well-equipped kitchen has all the usual appliances and an additional fridge ideal for overflow food or keeping drinks cool in summer. There is plenty of worktop space for meal prep and all the common utensils.
The sleeping quarters are made up of three comfortable rooms. There is one large double bedroom and two rooms with twin beds. The bathroom is large and has a stand-alone shower as well as a separate bath.
Outside, discover a roof terrace with comfy seating, ideal for an alfresco meal on a summers evening, people watching, or for children to play. Wales is a great destination for stargazing, and you could planet spot and stargaze to your heart's content on clear evenings.
