About Bro Llewelyn

Sunsets and Stars Holiday Cottage is set near the coast in a peaceful rural area with fantastic views over the countryside. It is perfectly located to access all North Wales attractions, including the towns of Llandudno, Conwy, Rhos-on-Sea, and Betws-y-Coed.

This cottage is ideal for couples and families or friends who want to combine a walking or cycling holiday with days at the beach and easy access to Snowdonia. Sleeping up to five people in two bedrooms ((A double, a king-size, and a folding bed) it also has a travel cot. The master bedroom has large windows allowing you to enjoy the wonderful view without leaving your bed.

Recently remodelled to the highest standard the property combines contemporary facilities with old cottage charm. Inside the large yet cosy kitchen, you will find an original range with an open fire. A sun-trap garden to the side and rear offers a secluded lawn with a small pond. The garden leads up to a South- facing terrace with a great view and a large summerhouse.

While the cottage is very popular with walkers and those who want a quiet and relaxing break, it equally appeals to adventure seekers. Folk who charge up Snowdon in the morning, coasteer at lunchtime, and fly down zip wires in the afternoon. Either way, a hot drench shower, and a comfortable bed will end the day splendidly.

The cottage does not have a stairgate or travel cot but please do enquire as we may be able to source some.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the building, it is not wheelchair accessible as the doorways are too narrow and the bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor.

The area
Llysfaen is a quiet village just a short drive from the coast with easy access to the many local beaches. Llandudno and Conwy are 20 minutes away and picturesque Betws Y Coed is just a little further on. Local attractions include the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Conwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris Castles, Snowdon with its mountain railway, Zip world and Bounce below, Aber falls and Bodnant gardens to name just a few, the list goes on and on. North Wales is the perfect place for sailing, kayaking, climbing, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, and horse riding. Of course, you can just pull up a chair, open your book and enjoy both the peace and the fantastic view from your holiday home.

Sunsets and Stars Cottage is within walking distance of a local shop and the Semaphore lodge pub and restaurant. It is also just a few minutes’ walk from Mynydd Marian which is a site of special scientific interest and has limestone cliffs that are popular with climbers. (Telegraph house on the Marian was part of a semaphore signalling chain between Holyhead and Liverpool docks). So please do get in touch, you are guaranteed a warm welcome.
