About Islawrffordd Caravan Park
Located at the southern end of Snowdonia National Park, with direct access to the beach, plus swimming pool and restaurant.
Even before you arrive at Islawrffordd, you know you’re in for a quality experience. The huge gold-lettered entrance sign lets you know that this place is built up to a standard, and proud of it. Reception is equally impressive with its fully glazed double-height bay window, and throughout the site buildings are modern, well-designed, and beautifully maintained.
The same is true of the touring areas, which are well laid-out with well-tended plantings.
Toilet and shower facilities are first rate as they are, however, the option of upgrading to the ‘Cader Suites’ bathroom suite elevates your stay once more. These individual bathroom suites include a walk-in rainfall shower, sink and toilet, as well as toiletries and GHD hairdryer. These need to be booked in advance.
There’s a good choice of catering onsite with a coffee shop, fish and chips takeaway, Nineteen57 restaurant, and another coffee lounge beside the indoor swimming pool. There is an electric vehicle charging point on site, too. Energetic children have the choice of the indoor arcade and bowling alley or the enclosed outdoor adventure playground.
A main attraction is the beach, close to the touring pitches. Here the dog-friendly sandy beach provides plenty of opportunity for walks and relaxation, with fantastic views to the Llyn peninsula to the north and towards Barmouth in the south. The site even has its own slipway and boat storage yard for resident owners.
