About Dale Fort

Dale Fort is located in the sunniest place in Wales and averages in excess of 1700 hours of sunshine a year! It is ideally located for accessing the Wales Coast Path, local beaches, Pembrokeshire's Coastal Islands with their renowned resident sea bird populations, including puffins, guillemots and razorbills. Dale Roads is a sheltered bay allowing year round access to water-sports. Adventurous Activities can be arranged with our local partners. Wales Coast Path 200m, walking distance to 4 beaches, Marloes Sands 4 miles, Skomer Island Embarkation 6 miles, Pembroke Castle 21 miles, St David's 24 miles, Oakwood Theme Park 24 miles, Folly Farm Park & Zoo 30 miles.

Dale Fort is set in a spectacular location high on the cliffs within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, giving superb views over the sea. It is a great location to bring groups, families or businesses together and is rated 3* by Visit Wales for Group Accommodation. Dale Fort has a Solar P.V. installation producing sustainable electricity.

The centre has a visitors' lounge, shop and bar. There is a common room with hot and cold drinks facilities, as well as a TV lounge, sitting area and games room with a pool table. There are also board games available.

There are several outdoor game areas including a field for football, rugby, rounders, etc. A lawn and decked area has been created for relaxation on the top of the headland for spectacular views across Pembrokeshire and the Milford Haven waterway.

There is a secure car park for 20 cars.
