About Sloeberry Farm, Glamping Lodges

Sloeberry Farm VisitWales Gold awarded, canvas lodges are set in 13 acres of pasture & woods, only 3 miles from the village and stunning beaches of Aberporth and a short drive from the historic town of Cardigan.

Sit back. Put your feet up. Relax in the hot tub. Watch the sun set over the hills and glint off the lake. Enjoy time as a family exploring, finding hidden streams or relaxing by your campfire. Look for owls swooping across the meadow as dusk settles, or head in to chat by warmth of the wood burning stove.

Wash away the cares of the day in your own private shower cabin within the lodge and finally before cwtching down under a thick duvet see who is the first to spot a shooting star.

Wake up to the sounds of bird song. Enjoy an invigorating cup of freshly ground coffee.

Head off for the day and create memories.

Relaxing
Lodge interiors
Lodge interiors
Our lodges are lit with a mixture of lamps and candles, at the heart of the lodge is our wood burning stove, surrounded by vintage leather chesterfields: it will keep the lodge warm in all weathers and is the perfect spot to finish the evening.

Outside
There is large raised deck area at the front of the lodge with stunning views across the coastal hills, where better to sit with a glass of wine and a book on a summer afternoon.

Relax in your private wood fired hot tub. Just outside is a picnic table, firepit and BBQ for campfire cooking or as evening settles sitting by a crackling log fire whilst gazing at the stars across the immense West Wales night sky.

The Location

Sloeberry Farm is located at Crynga Mawr near Cardigan in West Wales. The farm was founded in the early 1800s making use of the natural spring to power a mill and dairy. It sits in a sheltered spot with stunning views across the countryside, a private lake and lots of nooks and crannies to explore.

Everyone is free to roam around the farm and discover areas hidden away for private picnics or just sit around the lodge and soak up the sun. Local paths and country lanes lead you the 3 miles down to Aberporth beach for a walk along the coastal path or dinner in a pub set in a spectacular cove.

The Cardigan Bay area was voted by lonely planet as the best place to be in the world right now, it’s absolutely stunning with cliff walks, sandy bays, pristine national trust beaches and small fishing villages. Cardigan town is a short drive away and has an abundance of local shops, artisan bakers, pizza makers and award winning restaurants.

The area is famed for outdoor pursuits such as coasteering, surfing, sea kayaking, sailing, mountain biking and walking; it’s known as the best location in the UK to spot dolphins, puffins and rare wildlife.
