About Belan Bluebell Woods
Belan Bluebell Woods Camping & Glamping is our family farm site in the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales, close to the lovely town of Llanidloes and popular Tourist attraction Hafren Forest. Our Award winning 5* site just off A470 is conveniently located, once here you're rewarded with breathtaking views by day and incredible skies by night. We’re in a recognised Dark Skies Wales area, with outstanding stargazing thanks to our 1300ft position and nonexistent light pollution.
Whether you’re hiking, mountain biking, wild swimming or just taking it slow, this is a relaxed place surrounded by nature with a fantastic local area to explore. There’s so much for couples and families to enjoy nearby – mountains, forest, lakes, coast, cafés, local artisans and welcoming restaurants.
Choose from our romantic, secluded shepherds hut with quirky horsebox shower and wood‑fired outdoor bath with stunning valley views, the setting for many proposals or head to our wildflower meadow for family‑ and dog‑friendly glamping and camping. Wander down the meadow to find our spacious 6m geo‑domes sleeping up to 6, with dreamy rustic decor super comfy beds and toiletries towels and home comforts each with its own kitchen & dining area. Or pick a secluded hedged meadow camping pitch, with firepit and log seating.
Small touches make the difference: from a welcome hamper, clean private loos, quirky horsebox showers, onsite shop, washing‑up area, children’s play area and activities, animal feeding sessions, and our onsite food including wood‑fired pizzas.
We run themed weekends, such as Wild Swimming, dog training or foraging. If you host events& need a venue do enquire.
