Is this the most beautiful parkrun in Wales? JOG ON's Harry Morgan explores North Wales.

Harry Morgan, of the running themed YouTube channel and Podcast JOG ON, spent a couple of enjoyable days exploring the beautiful shores and rugged mountains of North Wales.

Harry began his trip on Anglesey, finding out the history behind the magnificent Castell Biwmares (Beaumaris Castle). After working up an appetite exploring, he recharged at the Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour, and enjoyed an evening meal at the Midland Tapas. Overnight accommodation was at the historic Bull Inn in Beaumaris.

Up early the next day, Harry made his way to the weekly Newborough Forest parkrun. It's one the most beautiful parkrun venues in Wales! The route follows a 5k (3.1 mile) forest trail through calming native woodlands. Afterwards, he relaxed in a rejuvenating, warm seaweed bath at Halen Môn, looking out over the stunning views across the Menai Strait. Bliss.

Following lunch at Dylan's Menai Bridge, Harry took an exciting RibRide wildlife spotting trip along the Menai Strait to Ynys Seiriol (Puffin Island). During the evening, Harry ate at contemporary Welsh restaurant Wal in Caernarfon, a unique venue with parts of the ancient town walls threading through the building. The evening finished off with a visit to Castell Caernarfon to watch an incredible laser show on the castle walls. Harry stayed at the Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon overnight.

In the morning, he headed into Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park to run a scenic 10 mile circuit around Llanberis before heading home.
