About Blaenavon Heritage Railway

TAKE A TRIP BACK IN TIME

Blaenavon's Heritage Railway runs through the Blaenavon World Heritage site on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We operate steam and/or heritage diesel services on weekends and bank holidays between April and September, together with selected Wednesdays during July and August. We also offer a range of special events throughout the year, including our Transport Festival, Steam Gala, Halloween Ghost Trains and Steam Santa Specials.
Discounts available for groups and coach visits. Free coach and car park, tearoom, toilets and shop at our main Furnace Sidings station.
Average visiting time 1 - 2 hours. Ideal venue to link with visits to other local attractions.

Located just off the B4248 between Blaenavon and Brynmawr with easy access links to the A465 Heads of the Valley Road. Please use postcode NP4 9SF for satnavs and mobile devices.
