About Cardigan Walks

Cardigan Walks is a family-friendly walking tour of historic Cardigan town.

From before Cardigan's founding in 1110, this area has had loads going on. Come learn about the power struggles early Cardigan faced, the changes and continued struggles town faced in the Medieval times, and explore Cardigan's history from when town was the largest port in South Wales and one of the largest in all the British Isles.
Cardigan Walks operates two tours per day - the first is a morning tour from 10.00 - 11.30 and the second is an afternoon tour from 13.00 - 14.30. Each tour lasts about 1.5 hours with a walk of about 1.5 miles.

The tour walks through Cardigan town over its pavements meaning it is an accessible tour. For the sake of those who may be allergic or uncomfortable with dogs, we ask that you don't bring your furry history lovers with you. Catch them up on Cardigan's history when reunited and let them know where all the bones are buried then!
