About Anglesey Bees / Gwenyn Môn

At Anglesey Bees we are passionate about beekeeping, sustainability and education. We produce award-winning Anglesey wildflower honey of the highest quality in small batches, with the greatest respect for the product and the environment.

We are the leading provider of beekeeping training and experiences in Wales, based on customer satisfaction and numbers. Just read our reviews!
We never cancel or re-schedule our events, regardless of the weather as we have docile bees and beehives under shelter.
We draw on a wealth of experience as teachers and over 30 years as beekeepers. Numbers of participants on our experiences and courses are always kept to no more than four to ensure that you get individual attention and progress quickly. Gift vouchers for our courses and experiences are available.
We are very aware of the environmental and social impact of Anglesey Bees and are already aligned with the goals of the Welsh government's wellbeing of future generations act. Furthermore, we have produced an environmental and social action plan to quantify our impact and to work towards reaching net zero carbon emissions, protecting and enriching our habitats and making positive impacts on our local community.

A great family activity. We have bee suits to fit all sizes and ages from 8yrs old.
Fun for all the family

Our beekeeping experiences are aimed at individuals, families, friends and groups that would like a taste of beekeeping without committing to doing a beginner's course.

Numbers of attendees are restricted to no more than 4-6 individuals so that you get the most from your experience. Experiences are available for larger private groups by arrangement.

Generally experiences are available between the start of April and the end of August. However please enquire about doing a "Taste the Honey experience outside this time period. Gift vouchers are available for experiences.
