About South Wales Aviation Museum

South Wales Aviation Museum (SWAM) is based at St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan. The Museum is the vision of Gary Spoors and John Sparks who both share a passion for preserving the rich Aviation History in South Wales. The Museum hopes to inspire the next generation of talented aviators and engineers.

SWAM is a not for profit organisation and a registered charity completely self funded. 100% of the proceeds go to the upkeep and running of the museum and gift shop. There is a dedicated team of volunteers and every single volunteer makes a valuable difference to the Museum.
