About Glyn Valley Tramway & Industrial Heritage Museum

An opportunity to see and learn about the industrial past of the Ceiriog Valley and the Glyn Valley Tramway which ran through the valley from 1873 until 1935.

Heritage museum and visitor centre in Glyn Ceiriog with preserved artefacts, photographs, wagons, free-standing exhibits.
The old tramway engine shed has been fully restored and the old station platform reconstructed to how it was before closure of the tramway.

Take a walk along the former track bed running by the river Ceiriog. As former Prime Minister David Lloyd George said about the Valley: "It’s a little bit of Heaven on Earth".
