About Oriel Glasfryn Gallery

Oriel Glasfryn Gallery is the only independent art gallery in North East Wales. We opened at Easter 2022 and have quickly become one of the leading galleries in the country.

Situated just off the A55 in the historic town of Caerwys, we showcase the finest original Welsh art and craft including paintings, jewellery, ceramics, sculpture, glass, textiles, wood and metalwork. We opened at Easter 2022.

Main Gallery

Our main gallery is open all year and has an ever-changing display of work by around 40 Welsh artists and makers. The names are a mixture of established artists and the brightest emerging talent.

During the summer and winter there is even more art to enjoy, when we open up fabulous Glasfryn Hall for special exhibtions. You can even enjoy tea and cakes on the lawns, with their wonderful views of the Clwydian Hills.

We are family-owned and run and we pride ourselves on making art accessible to people of all ages. Children are very welcome here. Dogs too!
