Welcome to ""Images of Snowdonia"", a gallery displaying the photographs of Andrew Kime.
Snowdonia is a place of real beauty, a land of mountains, lakes, moors, woodland and coast; a photographers dream.

Andrew has been fortunate enough to live within the Snowdonia National Park for over ten years, and still has much to discover, with many miles of footpath to explore.
Although he started taking photographs at the tender age of seven, it is only since the move to Snowdonia that Andrew believes that he has managed to capture his original vision of a scene with the camera, and some of the results can be seen here. Early starts and late evenings are a regular feature of the day and if these images convey the love Andrew has for this unique and wonderful landscape then he believes it is well worth it.

After a number of years during which Andrew's work has been featured and used in photographic magazines, (Outdoor Photography, Amateur Photographer, Photography Monthly, What Digital Camera....), on cards & in calendars and even a brief slot on the TV, he has decided to go professional. At 47 this may look like a mid-life crisis, but changes in work have kept him more and more away from home. A lot of thought and prayer have gone into the decision, and it is the right time.
