Ynys Mon Angling Association
The Ynys Mon Angling Association is the largest coarse angling association based on Anglesey, offering access to some of the finest coarse fishing in the area.
The association offers 3 lakes both managed and wild fisheries offering an excellent selection of species (Carp, Tench, Pike, Crucian Carp, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch) all lakes offer good access, and are available on day ticket this gives all the chance to share some of the best angling experiences available within the picturesque surroundings of Anglesey.
We are a family friendly association offering a variety of angling exper for all anglers regardless of age or abilities.
The YMAA offers

Match / Competitions throughout the year (When allowed under Covid guidance)
Support for new anglers.
Before starting to fish any associations waters, it is your responsibility to have either a valid membership card or to have purchased a day ticket and a valid rod license.

Take the A55 into Holyhead then follow the signs to Breakwater Country Park.

Directions
From Holyhead Follow the A5 into Caergeiliog, turn right at the old toll house, stay on the road for approximately 0.75 miles look out for the Hotel Cymyran on the right, the entrance to the lake is directly opposite on the left, go through both sets of gates to the car park near the bottom of the field, close all gates when entering/leaving the lake.

The association has stocked Bream, Common and Mirror Carp in the lake over since 2017, the lake also has a historical population of tench.

Beware of the horses when entering/leaving fishery.
Llyn Maelog (South Bank ONLY)
Please take care when fishing there are no purpose made disabled or standard fishing pegs, but the bank is accessible with care.
Directions
From the A55 take junction 5 towards Rhosneigr, at Llanfaelog village look for Wayside Stores on the left, then take the next turning on the right towards Rhosneigr, carry on for approx 0.7 miles until you see a small bridge, turn right and than park directly on the left. Park off the road and follow the signs on the right too the clubs bank - a walk of approximately 250 yards.
The clubs controls the South Bank, looking down the lake with Oyster Catcher behind you this is the right hand bank, see the Maelog icon on the right of this screen for a detailed view.
