About Lobster Safari

Join this fascinating two-hour trip to learn all there is to know about the mysterious world of the lobster. This elusive catch is notoriously difficult to find but skipper Carl Davies, a qualified Marine Biologist with over twenty years' experience of commercial fishing, will show what happens behind the scenes on a lobster potting boat and will explain in detail about the life and conservation of lobsters, which makes it so sustainable. Experience first-hand the anticipation of the pots breaking the water to discover whether they contain what's known as the Black Gold of the sea.
Our Lobster Safari trip takes you around the towering cliffs of the Great Orme where it is possible to see other fantastic wildlife, from seals to seabirds and the famous Kashmiri goats that live wild on the Orme and provide the mascot for the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. So do bring some binoculars and a camera to capture the stunning sunsets that can be seen from the sea side of the Great Orme.

On return there will be an opportunity to buy super fresh lobster and crab for your tea!

The Lobster Safari trips take place from Easter to October so keep an eye on the 'Trip Update' page for details of when they are running. Our safari trips cost just £20 per adult and £14 for under 16's, and gift vouchers are available if you are after a unique gift.
