This little gem is very comfortably prepared and situated above the coast, 2 miles south of Harlech, in the small hamlet of Llanfair and just over 1/2 mile from Llandanwg beach. There are beautiful panoramic views of the sea and Llyn Peninsula from the lounge, kitchen, main bedroom and garden. Although the beach is only a short drive it is a only an 8 minute walk if you choose to leave the car behind, to the sandy beach which is the only beach included in the Snowdonia National Park. The mountains of Snowdonia dominate the skyline to the north and east. Mountain, hill and valley walks are just on the doorstep. A local favourite is 'The Roman Steps' weaving between peaks into the territory of the hare, wild goat and buzzard. Harlech (1 mls) is a small town with a theatre, leisure centre, golf course and impressive castle. Barmouth (10 mls), a harbour town situated in the most picturesque location with a small funfair. Porthmadog (10 mls) home of steam train rides through Snowdonia, Portmeirion village and shops. The station on the Cambrian Coast Railway is half a mile away, with services to Harlech, Porthmadog, Criccieth and Pwllheli in one direction, and services to Barmouth, Fairbourne, Aberdyfi, and Machynlleth (with connections to Shrewsbury) to the South.
