Tower Hill is the perfect self-catering holiday cottage. The house is furnished with a mix of antiques and contemporary furniture, and features pictures and ceramics by local artists. The view of the Cathedral and Bishop's Palace from the sitting room is breath-taking. Wooden floors and quarry tiles are fitted throughout, and very effective heating is provided by electric night storage heaters in every room, and a woodburning stove in the sitting room. There is a fully fitted kitchen and modern bathroom and the cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin). Wi-Fi access is provided.
At the rear of the house is a secluded walled garden which, sheltered from any coastal breezes, is a real sun trap.
The house has been decorated and furnished by its current owners to a high standard. We therefore do not allow pets, neither is the property suitable for children under five years old. It is a no smoking property.
Tucked into the hillside just outside the ancient City walls, it enjoys wonderful views of the mediaeval Cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and surrounding countryside, dominated by Carn Llidi. St Davids’ shops, restaurants, pubs and arts and crafts galleries are only a short stroll away, and a few minutes’ drive takes you to Caerfai and Whitesands beaches, as well as St Davids’ nine-hole golf course.
