About The Stableyard Cottages

Book directly with owners.
4-star self-catering cottages, part of the oldest property in Bangor-on-Dee's historic village, built in the 1630s, retaining original oak beams and wattle-and-daub walls.
The 4/5 bed Stableyard Cottage is annexed to the 17th century building, while the two 2/3 bed cottages are barn style conversions of 19th century outbuildings.
Two excellent local pubs and Bangor on Dee racecourse easily accessible. 300 metres from the River Dee and its ancient bridge (fishing by arrangement). Convenient for the Ellesmere Lakes, Chester, Shrewsbury, Llangollen and Snowdonia.
Ideal for the business visitor to Wrexham Industrial Estate.
Free Wi-Fi.
As well as the usual tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and sugar, prices include a 2-day starter pack of DIY breakfasts, comprising cereal, muesli, eggs, bread, butter and preserves.
Three resident cats, Battersby, Nora and Jennifurry, should not trouble you for anything more than a kind stroke or tickle, but this does make it difficult to accommodate guests' pets. Luckily there are dog-sitters and kennels opposite The Stableyard, where your pets can be housed.
