The island is well worth a visit, take lunch in the cafe or pack a picnic, not forgetting a browse in the island shop and treat yourself to chocolate or some perfume made by the monks. Locally, children will love Folly Farm, Heatherton, The Dinosaur Park, Wild Lakes or building sandcastles and enjoying ice cream on one of the many beaches.
