The cottage is a ten-minute walk from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, and a short drive or 30-minute walk to the lifeguard-supervised Whitesands (Traeth-Mawr), a European Blue Flag beach popular with both families and surfers. There is a 9-hole golf course at Whitesands, and an outdoor pursuits centre in St. David's itself, where organised boat trips can also be booked.
