Nantseren is the perfect base for reunions with friends and family - your own glampsite in wild Wales. Stay in stylishly furnished canvas lodge tents under the stars of a Dark Sky Reserve, close to the legendary Llyn y Fan Fach in the west of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Nantseren is a small-scale, eco-friendly glampsite - a private space, ideal for group gatherings and retreats. 4 tents are spread along a wooded stream in a peaceful, sunny meadow, which is carefully managed to encourage native wild flowers and bio-diversity. It is off-grid, so you can switch off and get closer to nature - wake up to the dawn chorus, watch red kites soar above you, stargaze at night by the campfire.
The 4 tents sleep up to 16 people (bedding supplied). Each tent has a private bathroom with luxury rainfall shower and heated towels located in the glamping barn (2 mins walk). The barn is a beautifully designed, atmospheric open-plan space - big enough to socially distance if needed, but also cosy and welcoming, with a large log burner, seating areas for dining and lounging, books, games and local information. Large, glazed doors let lots of light in and open onto a wooded glade with additional seating areas, leading on to the tents.
Nantseren is the perfect place for reconnecting with nature. The wild world is all around you here, you can discover it at no extra cost - just take some time to look, listen and explore. Wake up to a magnificent dawn chorus outside your tent, walk on the mountain to see wild ponies, spot hares in the fields around you and hear the distant hooting of owls as you drift off to sleep.
Staying at Nantseren, you’ll notice the cycle of hill farming around you. A farming diary in the glamping barn will let you know what's happening during your stay, both on the farm and locally.
