The cottage is surrounded by our own farmland which is in Glastir, an environmental scheme to improve habitat and wildlife. We have a variety of habitats, old pastures, anthills, new woodland planting and areas left rough which are managed sensitively. There are bird boxes on the farm and a bird table in the garden. We have a wide variety of birds on the farm and hares are a regular sight. Visit Radnorshire Wildlife Trust Nature Reserves and see wildlife whilst walking around the farm and up on the hills. Os maps and bird and plant books to borrow.
