Gilfach Farm Holiday Accommodation

Come and stay on our beautiful tucked away hill farm just north of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Across the farm we have 3 very different self catering holiday accommodations for you to choose from (and one glamping unit). All are completely separate from each other, with their own access and privacy. We also welcome dogs into all of our accommodations, no matter how big or small and at no extra cost.

Cosy Barn Cottage
A conversion in the end of our 400-year-old barn this cottage sleeps four (one double and one twin room), has an open plan kitchen and living space with a small log burner and a small shower room. Recently renovated this is a truly cosy space and benefits from its own beautiful fenced patio perfect for outdoor eating and a safe place for visiting dogs.

Tucked Away Log Cabin
Our secluded log cabin sleeps four (one double and one bunkbed room), with open plan kitchen and living space and double doors which open onto your own decking where there are a table and chairs and a lovely view.

Romantic Barn Loft
A conversion in the eves of our 400-year-old barn this beautifully decorated loft sleeps two (king size bed). With fantastic views down the valley and quaint low beams the loft is super comfortable.

In addition to our accommodations we also have;

BBQ Hut
Situated in the main garden our BBQ hut is available all year round, any time of day. This is a fantastic space to have a cook up even when it's raining outside, comfortably seating up to 6 people. Charcoal and utensils are supplied as well as a Bluetooth speaker and LED lighting. Just bring the food and enjoy!

Electric Mountain Bike Hire

In collaboration with our neighbours at Ynys Clydach we run Sennybridge Electric Bikes. For those who would like to make the most of the outdoors without having to be super fit, these are brilliant - they are ideal for country roads and forest trails/dirt tracks taking out so much of the effort giving you more time and energy to enjoy. You can make your booking on our dedicated website and cycle off from the farm!

Dinky Donkeys
We host Good Day Out and their dinky donkeys on our farm. These are adorable and funny creatures! Through Good Day Out you can book a Dinky Donkey Walk, Mini Donkey Games or Farm Yard Bootcamp, safe in the knowledge that all you have to do is roll out of bed in the morning! No travel, just adorable fuzzy faces waiting for you to give them a cuddle.

Muddy Boots and Gear Space
For the hard core walkers who stay with us, ready to jump out of bed in the morning and tackle the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountain and Waterfall county (or the unfortunate souls who got caught out in the rain) we have a dedicated space in the main barn for all your gear - boot racks and a hang rail so you don't have to bring it into your accommodations and it can dry out for the next day. If just letting it dry out isn't going to be enough we also have a laundry room you can use.

Wash Stand and Bike Racks
For the mountain bikers who have brought their own bikes and gear with them we have a wash stand in the yard with an overhead boon and pressure washer if needed. In the main barn we have racks so you can chain up your bike secure and out of the weather.

Eco Friendly
We love the land we live on and want to do all we can to look after it so we only use eco friendly products in our kitchens, bathrooms and cleaning products. We have a natural spring which supplies all of our water and encourage mindful use of it. Tree planting is a continuous effort and we are rewilding the lesser used parts of the farm. Guests are welcome to explore all of the farm and enjoy all the flora and fauna there is to see, just don't forget your wellies!
