The Cottage is a 200 year old former Smithy/Cobblers shop, tastefully renovated to a high standard. Set in the stunning Ystwyth Valley between the Cambrian Mountains and the Sea. The Cottage is comfortable and cosy and is fully equipped to offer all the comforts of home including a wood burning stove.
The cottage is set on a 3 acre smallholding on the banks of the River Ystwyth offering fishing, walking and cycling right on the doorstep. Ideal base for Motorcyclists to venture out onto the fantastic roads in the area and visit local places of interest. Including Devils Bridge, Elan Valley and it's lakes, Strata Florida Abbey and ride the beautiful roads and lanes in the Cambrian Mountains only 20 minutes ride away. Within 20 minutes of the Rheidol Valley. 10 Minutes from the Hafod Estate. Paradise for Ramblers, Walkers and Cyclists.
There is an abundance of wildlife, with regular sightings of Red Kites, Herons, King Fishers to name a few on the property. The Cottage would suit couples only wishing to have a relaxing break.

The Cottage sleeps 2 with double bed on mezzanine

Downstairs is open plan and features original exposed timbers and beams.

The sitting room has a large sofa, arm chair, rocker TV/DVD, log burner and oak floors with rugs.
Dining area has table and 4 chairs with views from kitchen window over field to river.
Kitchen is well equipped with microwave, halogen hob electric oven, integral fridge and washing machine.
Shower Room is newly fitted and includes heated towel rail, electric fan heater, hand basin and large walk in shower.

Outside:
Off road parking in car park, secure lock up for cycles, and secure parking for motorcycles. . We have fishing rights for those who enjoy the tranquillity of a river and wish to fish.

Key Facts:
Bed linen and towels are provided, but not beach towels.
Electric heating with Wood Burner (first basket of logs provided, more available to purchase)
Complementary tea, coffee and sugar provided.
No Smoking.
Cycle lock up shed.
Please bring your dogs own towels, bed and bowls, these are not provided.
