About Cedar Tree Cottage, The Old Rectory
The cottage sleeps 2 and is available to rent on a self catering basis and is located within the grounds of The Old Rectory in Clocaenog which is 4 miles from the historic market town of Ruthin in Denbighshire, North Wales.
The cottage is attached to the main house where we run The Old Rectory Bed and Breakfast from. Cedar Tree Cottage has undergone a complete refurbishment during 2015 and has been finished to a high standard with all modern amenities. It also has its own private garden area with patio and is available to rent on either a weekly basis or for short breaks.
The holiday cottage is perfect for those seeking a retreat in a peaceful rural location with good access to the surrounding area. We are located on the edge of Clocaenog Forest in the Hiraethog area of North Wales and are close to Llyn Brenig and the Alwen Reservoir. For those who are more adventurous we are just a short drive from the Snowdonia National Park, the North Wales coast, the Dee Valley, Ruthin, Llangollen, Mold, Chester and Wrexham. We have on our doorstep an amazing range of activities, things to do and places to see.
Cedar Tree Cottage comprises an open plan sitting and kitchen area with wet room style bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs is a kingsize double bedroom with dressing area. The cottage benefits from underfloor heating which along with the hot water is powered by an air source heat pump.
