About Bwthyn Gilfach

With the River Aeron passing through the Gilfachweddog smallholding, West Wales Retreat in Felinfach offers you peace and quiet with the luxury of being 5 miles to the coastal resort of Aberaeron and 5 miles the other way to the historic Lampeter, the oldest University establishment in Wales.

The no smoking accommodation comprises Bwthyn Gilfach, an ‘upside down’ self-catering cottage, with fully equipped kitchen, bedroom (with king-sized bed), dining room and shower room on the ground floor.  Upstairs has been devoted to a lounge area, retaining the original wooden beams with a feature window overlooking the valley.  There is a two and three-seater settee, flat screen SMART television, DVD player and music system together with a range of books and DVDs for your enjoyment.

Wi-Fi is available and free so, although rural, you can always keep in touch.

As West Wales Retreat is surrounded by 100s of acres of working farmland, we regret that we are unable to accept pets.
