About Bwthyn Creigiau

Bwthyn Creigiau is a converted barn and piggery dating back to 1780 when it was part of a traditional working farm. Original features such as vaulted ceilings, oak beams and exposed stone have been retained with added modern comforts such as underfloor heating and triple glazing. The cottage is welcoming, light and airy with a contemporary design and has several large French windows overlooking the gardens.

Our main aim is to offer access for all and this extends to the grounds, filled with over 2500 herbaceous plants. Follow the paths as they wend round raised flower beds, the sensory garden, orchard and wild flower meadow carefully designed for the enjoyment of all our guests – as well as the wildlife they attract.
Just a 5 minute drive from Bwthyn Creigiau, the All Wales Coast Path passes through Green Castle Woods, ancient woodlands carpeted with bluebells in spring. 10 minutes away, the unspoilt village of Llansteffan on the Towy estuary has a castle, stunning coastal and estuary walks and views, beautiful unspoilt beaches, wildlife – it’s a real paradise for those seeking peace and tranquillity.
