About Bryn Bach

Bryn Bach is a three storey detached house set in a small picturesque hamlet between Aberystwyth and Tregaron in West Wales.

The house is suitable for groups and larger families and is located on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains with easy access to excellent walks and national cycle routes, making it ideal for walkers, cyclists, anglers and nature lovers.

Bryn Bach has magnificent views of the surrounding fields and countryside. There are a wide variety of natural environments to visit within a short drive including the Cambrian Mountains, the Hafod estate, the raised bog of Cors Caron National Nature Reserve, the Elan Valley and the Wales Coast Path.

Local attractions include the red kite feeding station and mountain biking centre at Nant yr Arian forest, Devil’s Bridge waterfalls and Vale of Rheidol railway, Aberystwyth’s cliff railway and camera obscura, Strata Florida abbey, Magic of Life butterfly house, Llanerchaeron estate, Dolaucothi Gold Mines, Fantasy Farm Park, Silver Mountain Experience and many others.

A village shop, post office and 2 pubs serving food are 3 miles away, with the seaside town of Aberystwyth, with many shops, restaurants and places to visit 12 miles away. There are picturesque towns and villages to visit, including Tregaron with its Welsh Gold Centre, Aberaeron for fish and chips and honey ice cream and New Quay for a boat trip to spot dolphins or go fishing.

If you don’t feel like cooking, there are plenty of places to eat nearby, from a meal at a country pub to fine dining or afternoon tea at Nanteos Mansion.

Accommodation
Bryn Bach sleeps up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms. Four bedrooms are on the first floor, a double bedroom with en suite shower room, 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. The fifth bedroom, a double with an en suite shower room, is on the second floor. The family bathroom on the first floor has a bath with an overhead shower.
The living room has 2 large sofas, an armchair and a window seat. There is a brick feature fireplace with woodburning stove, a large TV with Freesat and DVD player and an ipod docking station. The cwtch is a small room off the living room with a sofa, hi-fi, local information and many books to read.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and filter coffee maker.

The dining room seats 8 comfortably or 10 cosily, with French doors leading onto the large decking area. There is a baby grand piano in the slate tiled hallway. The downstairs WC leads off the hallway.

There is a games room on the second floor that includes a table tennis table and a selection of board games.

In addition to a travel cot and high chair, stair gates, baby bath, baby and toddler toys are provided for younger visitors.

Outside
Children's climbing frame with slides and swings. Fully enclosed decking area with outdoor seating and BBQ, secluded garden area with pond and a small woodland area. There is a hard standing driveway with parking for 5+ cars.
