Caernarfon castle is a World Heritage site on the harbour and Segonitium Roman fort is on the outskirts of the town. A 20 mile drive takes you to Llanberis village and the beginning of the Snowdonia mountains and the Snowdon Mountain railway - you can choose to walk up or take the steam train to the top. Choose from the beach in Trefor or any other private beaches tucked into the coves along this quieter part of the Llyn Peninsula.
