A spacious cottage with a double frontage on Gwynant Street, Beddgelert. A special feature is the elevated balcony to the rear overlooking the river Glaslyn and the mountians of Snowdonia. Located within 500m of the iconic hump back bridge in the centre of the picturesque village of Beddgelert, it has a choice of river, lake and mountain walks from the doorstep. The cottage is very comfortable with an open fire in the lounge/diner, fully fitted kitchen with all appliances and a sunny balcony and patio with access down to the river. Walking to the village centre is only a short 5 minute riverside walk to a bistro, inns and village shops and another 5 minutes to the Welsh Highland Railway station. The cottage is in an excellent location for exploring Snowdonia and there are plenty of sandy beaches at Porthmadog (8ml) and Harlech (15ml), castles at Harlech, Criccieth (15ml) and Caernarfon (17ml). Beautiful Betws y Coed and the Conwy valley is a spectacular 30min drive. National Trust's Bodnant Garden Conwy RSPB nature reserve 45mins and Chester only 2 hours. A very central location and at the foot of Snowdon too.

Three bedrooms: Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Bed linen provided. Please bring your own towels & tea towels. There is no cot.
Two shower rooms: In both shower rooms there is a shower cubicle, HWB and WC.
Kitchen is spacious in a galley style with fitted units, electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer.
Lounge/diner with large refectory table open fire, 32" TV & DVD. Access to the riverside balcony.
Sitting room: A quiet room for reading. TV with Freesat.
Enclosed balcony with furniture leading to riverside patio. The patio has a low wall with access to the river. New balcony railings will be in place before the cottage is available for letting (please check at time of booking).
Unrestricted street parking.
Electric central heating.

1 well behaved pet allowed. There is no place suitable for drying wet dogs so visitors must bring their own dog towels and beds. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on furniture.

Please note: Children are welcome but parents need to be aware of the proximity of the property to the river, which can be accessed over a low wall. Although there is no cot, there would be space to erect a travel cot in any of the bedrooms.

Please note: A returnable £100 Good Housekeeping bond will be required before the owner can give the key. Our experience shows that this procedure results in an all round better holiday for everyone, as our holiday home owners are prepared to offer better quality properties for guests and all guests fully respect the property and so make manageable the process of preparing the property for the next guest's full enjoyment. Nearly all our guests are respectful people where the bond is fully returned. We have a high proportion of returning guests who are appreciative of our service and the high standard of accommodation that we strive to provide. A single £27 Booking Fee applies to all bookings and is included in the price shown. Bookings for 2 weeks will be eligible for a £27 Multi-week Saving. Please claim this in the 'Additional Information' box that appears during the booking process and we will adjust the total before deducting the money from your card. We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (See Terms & Conditions), this has already been selected for you when you book. Simply deselect them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover. The Pet Charge is £20.

No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

Mini-breaks & weekends: Bookings that are for less than a week are only bookable within 21 days of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change over day or cross over more than 1 week are at the discretion of the property owner.
