There is much to do in this beautiful part of Wales. Using us as a base, walk to Hay on Wye and spend a day ambling round the bookstores, market and shops, or explore the magnificently refurbished Castle. The River Wye offers excellent coarse and game fishing, kayaking and miles of walking along the Wye valley trail.

Riding and pony trekking in wonderful moorland and through ancient Radnorshire forests is a big draw, with Offa's Dyke and the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park right next to us, offering trails and hikes for all levels. The roads are excellent too, which is why so many bikers and motor cyclists visit.

If history is more your thing, then stunning Hereford Cathedral and its Mappa Mundi is only a thirty minute drive away. Combine that with tranquil Llanthony Priory or the beautiful Elan Valley, with mile upon mile of majestic Welsh countryside beyond. There's something for everyone.
