A late 17th century house, standing in 24 acres on the tidal banks of the Mawddach Estuary with picturesque views. The gardens have a variety of flowers, trees, shrubs as well as birdlife. Borthwnog also adjoins an 'RSPB' bird reserve. The 600ft terrace and balcony views extend the 6 miles of estuary to the sea with Cader hills and Harlech rising on either side.
The rooms all have high ceilings with beautiful cornice work and are furnished in keeping with the style of the house. All have en-suite facilities, TV, radio, tea/coffee making facilities, and direct dial telephones.

The residents lounge is just made for relaxation, with an extensive library and a good array of guide and maps to the area to help you plan the next days activities.
