Seven pretty en-suite bedrooms converted from old farm buildings, retaining oak beams and exposed stone walls. The property overlooks Trawsfynydd Lake and the rooms are arranged around a courtyard.
Bedrooms are level access, suitable for disabled/less ambulant, one room with a wet room for easy wheelchair access. Each room has its own front door so late arrivals are no problem and it's ideal for people with dogs. Pets welcome in FIVE of the rooms but NOT in Welsh Mountain or Snowy Peaks - sorry.
Excellent G-scale garden railway; large attractive garden including small Japanese-style garden.
Lock-up facilities for cyclists.
Well situated for most tourist attractions, beaches and sporting activities. Great for walkers, cyclists and photographers, as well as those who just want to relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery.
Many of our visitors are railway enthusiasts. We have a model garden railway ("Cedar Creek Railroad" - G scale) based on the Denver and Rio Grande, with a magnificent American trestle 3' high and 42' long.
Here on the farm we have an ever-changing family of animals: at the moment we have hens, geese - and 2 llamas, who love to give the guests a kiss! Whenever possible we use our own free range eggs for breakfast. After breakfast, Margaret is happy to take children over to feed the animals and collect the eggs and Penny will run the trains. Well behaved children welcome from any age.
