About The Lodge, Parkwood Outdoors
For larger groups and schools, our Dolygaer Lodge is the perfect place to stay! Complete with its own bathrooms, staff quarters (ideal for staff/course leaders), communal area with comfortable seating, and large dining area, it can accommodate up to 44 persons.
There are 10 bedrooms (each sleeping 4), and 2 bedrooms (sleeping 2 each with en-suites). Toilets are available inside the Lodge and a shower block is conveniently available just outside the Lodge. Catering or self-catered options are available, and our site boasts a wonderful on-site chef able to cater for large groups and specific dietary requirements.
Our centre lends itself to cyclists and walkers - all of which is available right from our doorstep. We have been awarded our Cyclists Welcome and Walkers Welcome awards which we hope will enable you to feel welcome and at home as soon as you walk in through our front doors. You will be well looked after, and can trust that we have everything you need with no reprimands for wearing muddy boots!
With easy access from the M4, just off the Pontsticill reservoir within 15 mins’ drive of Merthyr Tydfil, Parkwood Outdoors Dolygaer Lodge is the ideal home away from home.
