Christmas in Swansea Bay
TBC. Usually mid November - early January. Swansea’s Waterfront Winterland returns to Museum Park, with an extended Alpine Village. There’s a host of funfair attractions and a range of festive food and drink, providing a perfect setting for socialising. Book ice skating online.



Cardiff Christmas Market
TBC. Usually mid November - just before Christmas. Cardiff Christmas Market takes place on St John Street, Working Street, the Hayes, Hills Street and Trinity Street. It includes an exciting and eclectic mix of both new and returning exhibitors to tempt you as their original, hand made work is the essence of what makes this market so different and special every year.

Cardiff Winter Wonderland
TBC. Usually mid November - early January. Enjoy ice skating, funfare rides, including the Big Wheel in the centre of our capital city. Cardiff Winter Wonderland takes place at Cardiff Castle and the City Hall lawn.


Luminate Wales
TBC. Usually mid November - early January. A spectacular, illuminated trail, full of wonder and intrigue, to delight and enthral your senses at the historic gardens of Margam Country Park and Castle. See Luminate Wales website for more information.

Reindeer safari, Mold
24 November - 24 December 2023. Early bird tickets are now available. Reindeer Lodge are offering up a drive-through reindeer safari experience and theatre show that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own car. You can choose a day ticket to enjoy the stunning scenery or a night ticket to see the woodland illuminated. There's also a hidden Elf village and a drive-thru Santa's Grotto and Toy Workshop.
Swansea Winter Wonderland
TBC. Usually mid November - just before Christmas. Gower Fresh Christmas Trees, Three Crosses, Swansea, is home to Swansea Winter Wonderland and Grotto. Enter the snowy kingdom, see the animatronics and meet Santa. There's a gift for the children and mulled wine and a mince pie for the parents.
Conwy Half Marathon
19 November 2023. Try and jostle your way to the edges of the pack because Runners World included it in their five most scenic half marathons in the UK. Taking in such great sights as Conwy Castle, Isle of Anglesey and Puffin Island.

Welsh Museums Festival
TBC. The Welsh Museums Festival offers a variety of events in museums across Wales. All events are free of charge and include science events, crafts, lectures and conservation sessions.
Autumn Internationals

Llandudno Christmas Extravaganza

Festival of Senses, Llandeilo
TBC. The Festival of the Senses is three days of fun, entertainment, Christmas shopping and fireworks in the town of Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire.
Real Ale Wobble
TBC. Marking the start of the Mid Wales Beer Festival an event for those who don't take their cycling too seriously. Enjoy cycling through the Cambrian Mountains, sampling local ale from the Heart of Wales Brewery in Llanwrtyd Wells.

TBC. Hay Festival Winter Weekend brings writers and readers together for a weekend of thoughtful conversation, candle-lit storytelling, comedy, music, and family fun.


Real Ale Ramble
TBC. The Real Ale Ramble is held annually in conjunction with the 10-day Mid-Wales Beer Festival. Take a 12 or 20 mile waymarked ramble or there are two guided routes of five and eight miles, with free real ales available at the checkpoints.
