Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales
All visitors will need to pre-book a free ticket via the Amgueddfa Cymru website. Please note that tickets can only be reserved by people resident in Wales. Groups are limited to four people over the age of 10, unless they live in the same household.
A number of the historical buildings and galleries will be reopening at St Fagans National Museum of History for the first time since March and the Becoming Richard Burton exhibition at National Museum Cardiff will be open later in November.
Christmas at the Castle
12 November - Early January. Enjoy the big wheel, festive family rides, take a Victorian Santa tour and dine or enjoy a drink. Social distancing measures are in place.
Cardiff Christmas Market
12 November – 23 December. Cardiff Christmas Market will take place on St John Street, Working Street, the Hayes, Hills Street and Trinity Street and will include an exciting and eclectic mix of both new and returning exhibitors to tempt you as their original, hand made work is the essence of what makes our market so different and special every year.

Christmas in Swansea Bay
14 November – 3 January. If you're visiting Swansea during the Christmas period, there's plenty to keep you busy. From 14 November until 3 January, Museum Park will once again be transformed into the Alpine Village, including seated and takeaway food and a rides and games area. From 27 November to 21 December, Oxford Street will host the Christmas Market - where you can find a selection of unique gifts, tempting treats and beautiful decorations.
This year Swansea will host a Virtual Christmas Parade on 15 November, so you can join the celebrations by watching a magical procession from the comfort of your sofa!

Hay Festival Digital Winter Weekend
26 - 29 November 2020. Hay Festival Digital Winter Weekend brings writers and readers together for a free digital wonderland of thoughtful conversation, candle-lit storytelling, comedy, music, and family fun. Now in its 21st year, the Festival will be streamed live from Hay-on-Wye, kicking off the holiday season from 'the town of books' in all its festive glory with a star-studded line-up of speakers and performers. The town’s annual Christmas Lights switch-on, as a special Festival guest flips the switch on Friday 27 November, accompanied by carol singing and Christmas tales recorded in and around the town’s independent bookshops.
Royal Welsh Virtual Winter Fair
30 November - 1 December 2020. For 2020 the Royal Welsh Winter Fair will take place online over two days.
The online shopping experience will launch from 6 November and will be open until the 23 December.

Nov- January. The official start to Christmas in Cardiff. See the city centre undergo a spectacular transformation with a cornucopia of Christmassy characters, music and entertainment including the Christmas Market, Santa's Grotto and Christmas at the Castle.

Made by Hand
TBC. At this contemporary craft fair you can meet and buy directly from 135 of the finest makers at City Hall in the centre of Cardiff. There are adult and children's workshops, demonstrations and masterclasses.

Real Ale Wobble
20 November 2021. Marking the start of the Mid Wales Beer Festival an event for those who don't take their cycling too seriously. Enjoy cycling through the Cambrian Mountains, quaffing local ale from the Heart of Wales Brewery in Llanwrtyd Wells.
