01 March. St David's Day is a day full of children wearing black 'chimney' hats and shawls. Parades of leeks, daffodils, flags of Saint David and herds of red dragons - on flags of course. All in celebration of the patron saint of Wales, St David.

30 March 2025. Join the Elan Valley Dark Sky Team outside the Visitor Centre to help you watch the Moon take a bite out of the Sun during the partial solar eclipse viewing – weather permitting! The moon will obscure a third of the sun at totality in this part of the world. Solar glasses will be provided. Booking is not required.
