There is plenty of variety to attract campers to the island of Anglesey, one of North Wales’ designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with glorious beaches, historical sites such as Beaumaris Castle, and family entertainment at Anglesey Sea Zoo.
Penrhyn Bay is ideally located on the west coast, with access to a large sandy beach, great facilities, and terrific views over the Irish Sea. On the island’s north east coast sits Tyddyn Isaf, a family-run, family-friendly camping site with an adventure playground for children and footpath down to a beach which lies on the Anglesey Heritage Coastal Path.
Ty'n Rhos is nearby, and just around the headland from the pretty fishing village of Moelfre; Mornest Caravan Park is close to the A55, and only four miles from Llanddwyn Beach; Blackthorn Farm is close to the historical South Stack Lighthouse.
