Pride Cymru, Cardiff
22 and 23 June 2024. Since 1999 Pride Cymru is the biggest annual event in the Welsh LGBT+ community. It is an opportunity to welcome people of all ages and from different cultures and backgrounds to celebrate diversity and to strive towards equality in support with the LGBT+ community and other minority groups. The main site of the festival moves to Cardiff Castle this year, as the festival moves from late summer to June - Pride month. Early bird tickets are available. Other events and things to do in June
27 May - 01 June 2024. The Urdd Eisteddfod is one of Europe's biggest youth festivals. The festival changes location each year, with the 2024 festival taking place in Maldwyn (Montgomeryshire).
31 May - 02 June 2024. The Out & Wild Festival takes place in Pembrokeshire National Park. It's the UK's first wellness festival designed for queer, questioning and curious women and those who are non-binary. There's a varied programme, including music, wellness, sports and workshops.
08 June 2024. Whole Earth Man v Horse is a challenging run that sees people race against horses. It's one of the Green Events that take place in Llanwrtyd Wells each year.
09 June 2024. The Slateman Triathlon takes place in Llanberis. Choose your race, with five distances from super-sprint to legend, or choose the Slateman Duathlon, with running and cycling.
09 June 2024. The award winning JCP Swansea Half Marathon returns, with runners enjoying the course that starts at Brangwyn Hall, through the streets of Swansea and along the Swansea Bay to the Mumbles.
13 - 16 June 2024. Gottwood takes place on the Carreglwyd Estate, Anglesey. This independent and intimate underground electronic festival takes place in the middle of the woods.
