20 July 2024. The International Snowdon Race takes place on the highest peak in Wales and England. It always provides high drama, with almost 600 runners from across the world tackling the steep slopes of this iconic mountain. Entries open on 01 March 2024.

26 - 28 July 2024. Steelhouse Festival brings international classic rock music to its breath-taking mountain top location in Ebbw Vale, South Wales. 

If you're looking for child friendly self led walks for the school holidays, try the Ramble and Scramble. Available in Welsh and English the walks start and finish at Burry Port, Llanelli, Pontarddulais and Fishguard and Goodwick railway stations. There's a map to download plus activities to do for each. Accompanied children can now travel free on all Transport for Wales trains, plus there's 2 for 1 entry at Cadw sites when you travel there by train.

TBCBeyond the Border Storytelling Festival is the UK's biggest storytelling festival. Celebrate the festival's 30th anniversary with stories, performances, music and circus events, all taking place in the wonderful setting of Dinefwr, Carmarthenshire.

TBC. Cardiff Food and Drink Festival takes place in Cardiff Bay, with a range of food and drink stalls and live music, plus craft stalls.

26, 27, 28 July 2024 Landed Festival is set in the natural beauty of Doldowlod country estate in Mid Wales. The festival is an underground gathering for music and arts lovers. There are four stages and two dance tents, all playing host to breakthrough artists. It's also safe for families.
