About Preseli Venture

ABOUT PRESELI VENTURE

Pembrokeshire’s thriving adventure scene all began with Preseli Venture back in the 80s, who, along with a few other guides, pioneered the now global phenomenon of “coasteering”. For over 35 years, Preseli Venture set the bar for sustainable adventure tourism, working in harmony with the astounding wilderness of their surrounding environment and maintaining a working partnership with the National Trust and National Parks to use their nearby pristine locations for coasteering, surfing and sea kayaking adventures.

After what seems like a very, very long day at sea, Preseli Venture have finally come ashore, shed their wetsuits and closed the doors of their onsite adventure centre. They now work with an exciting range of local activity partners whom they trust to bring you the same high-quality experiences.

Preseli Venture’s activity agency team is comprised of Pembrokeshire’s most enthusiastic and knowledgeable adventure aficionados who endeavour to curate the most exhilarating and awe-inspiring experiences for every visitor. Whether you’re young or old, first-timers or seasoned adventurers, Preseli Venture knows the best places to meet your adventurous edge!

REVIEWS

“An experience all of us will cherish for a lifetime. It is safe to say, everyone left with warm hearts, big smiles and a little sadness that they had to leave such an amazing place” – Nic Ceja

“Everything was perfect! The instructors were very nice, patient and had a good sense of humour which made it even more fun for us. We cannot wait to book our next adventure.” - Farai Zhou

“It was excellent. The instructor/guide was informative & was able to take into account the varying aptitudes of the various participants.” - Tony O’Mahoney

“My daughter and I had a great time coasteering with Tom. We were delighted to see some seals and Tom was able to tell us about some of the sea birds in the area and their nesting and other more unusual habits. For us, it was a great way to spend an afternoon!” - Beverly Dillon

“Well organised, friendly and helpful leaders; and in discussion they clearly have concern for the marine environment and endeavour to do no harm whilst kayaking and coasteering.” - Dee Mustin

“Both the surfing and coasteering activities I did with my family were led by passionate, engaging and professional staff members. The interaction with my girls during the coasteering was a highlight with gentle encouragement when needed as well as lots of fun facts about the life on the rocks and on the pools. On of the best activity companies we have ever used and will recommend to anyone!” - Ben Cruise

“Best time I’ve ever had in neoprene. We (family of 2 adults and two children) spent an exhilarating, energetic, kinetic, wonderful watery and strangely relaxing time. All the guides were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. For each activity (coasteering and sea kayaking mainly with Emma) we felt safe, learned new skills and had an immense amount of fun.” – Warren Williams
