About Swansea International Jazz Festival
Swansea International Jazz Festival returns from 3-6 September 2026 with a dynamic four-day programme featuring internationally renowned performers, leading UK jazz artists and outstanding Welsh talent. Highlights include Swiss guitarist Nicolas Meier, acclaimed vocalist Claire Martin OBE and world renowned bassist Lawrence Cottle, Argentine ensemble Tango Jazz Quartet and a host of celebrated musicians performing across Swansea's theatres, cultural venues, waterfront spaces and city-centre locations.
Visitors can enjoy a varied programme ranging from contemporary jazz and big band favourites to swing, blues and jazz with global musical influences. Alongside the main ticketed concerts, the popular Stroller Programme features more than 30 free performances in pubs, bars and public spaces around Swansea, creating a lively soundtrack throughout the city centre and waterfront.
Festivalgoers can also experience live jazz on the water with special Copper Jack river cruises along the River Tawe, combining great music with unique views of Swansea Marina and the surrounding waterfront.
