About AberJazz Festival Fishguard
The wonderful Aberjazz Festival celebrates the best of Jazz and Blues, and is held in various venues around Fishguard and the surrounding area.
Expect a party atmosphere as the town comes to life with live music in the pubs and busking in the streets.
Taking place across a range of venues - from cosy bars to larger performance spaces - the festival creates a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where visitors can enjoy everything from traditional jazz and blues to contemporary and experimental sounds. Street performances and informal sessions often add to the lively, community feel throughout the town.
Festival 2026 runs from 27th to 31st August with ticketed events in various venues. Throughout the town the Aberjazz Fringe will bring music to the pubs, cafes and restaurants.
On the Sunday you can experience the Aberjazz parade, led by Idris the dragon. This is a chance for everyone to dress up and join in the fun as the parade weaves its way through the town into the Market Hall. The Market Hall will be open from 11:00 with buskers, an arts and crafts fare, drinks and street food.
As a highlight of the cultural calendar in Pembrokeshire, Aberjazz offers a perfect mix of music, coastal charm, and local hospitality, attracting both dedicated jazz fans and casual visitors looking for a unique summer experience.
