About Pandy Farm

At Pandy Farm Experience, we offer a unique and authentic glimpse into the daily life of a young hill farmer in North Wales. Your host, Erin McNaught, is a fourth-generation farmer, a well-respected female figure in the agricultural world and known for her appearances on national TV. Erin brings passion, expertise, and warm hospitality to every visit—making this a truly memorable experience for all ages.
As you arrive, you’ll be warmly welcomed by Erin and her sheepdog Del. Erin’s passion for her family’s farm is infectious, and it shines through as she shares its rich history—she often jokes that sheepdog trialling runs deep—not just in her blood, but in the very soil beneath your feet with the first recorded sheepdog trial taking place in 1873.
Watch in awe as Erin and her team of expertly trained dogs put on a thrilling sheepdog demonstration. You'll see their incredible skill working with both sheep and, for a twist of fun, some lively runner ducks!
After guiding the flock into a secure pen, Erin introduces you to the hardy Welsh Mountain sheep—one of the native breeds of Wales, known for being “hefted” to the land. She’ll explain the significance of different wool textures and how traditional sheep grazing helps maintain the upland environment.
To finish the experience, gather in the characterful old barn for a well-earned cup of tea and freshly baked Welsh cakes. While you're there, take a moment to browse our small gift shop, where you'll find a selection of hand-made gifts crafted right here on the farm. Sit down with Erin’s grandparents and other members of the family to hear more stories, ask questions, or simply soak up the atmosphere of this living, working farm.
