About The Shippon & The Dairy - Cefn Coleshill Farm
Cefn Coleshill Barn is set on a working farm on a quiet country Lane just 1 mile from junction 32A on the A55 expressway, making them an ideal location for visiting Chester, Wirral and North Wales. It is also a great base for those working in Deeside Industrial Park, Port of Mostyn and also if requiring accommodation during medical treatment at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
Both properties have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each with a double bedroom on the ground floor with shower en-suite. The first floor facilities in both include a spacious king size bedroom, a twin bedroom and a generous bathroom with full size bath and separate shower enclosure. All bedrooms have TVs and both lounges have smart TVs. They have Fibre Broadband, making them suitable for those wishing to work away from home as an alternative to stopping in a hotel. Towels and bedding are provided.
For guests with limited mobility both properties have a lounge, kitchen and double bedroom with en-suite shower room on ground floor, with no internal steps. Doorways are wide enough to allow wheelchair access. There is however a step into the en-suite shower cubicles and there are no handrails to the ground floor toilets, so please contact us first to make sure the accommodation is suitable for your needs.
For families with young children there are stairgates fitted at the top and bottom of the staircases, Mamas and Papas Cots and highchairs. In addition, purpose made window guards are fitted to all first floor low height windows and blind cords have been cut to prevent a choking hazard. Finally, there are reading and colouring books, colouring pencils, games, jigsaws, and toys available. Whilst situated on a working farm the barn is accessed by a separate entrance to that used by the farm and gates are in place which you can keep closed when your children are playing outside enjoying the country.
Both kitchens are well equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle.
The location of the barns is perfect for enjoying the area’s beautiful sandy beaches and superb selection of golf courses, whilst the nearby Clwydian hills and Offa’s Dyke long distance footpath affords excellent walking and birdwatching opportunities.
