About Pedal Wye Valley

Pedal series is organised by Parkinson's UK as a series of exciting cycling events across the country. With stunning scenery from rivers and valleys to dramatic climbs, pedal with us for an unforgettable experience on two wheels.

Three distance options are on offer: Bronze (25 miles), Silver (57 miles) and Gold (82 miles).

Bronze (25 miles) is our gentlest route and takes you along the beautiful River Wye. You'll pass the iconic Tintern Abbey and explore Hale Woods and Chepstow Woods before finishing back in Chepstow.

The Silver (57 miles) is our intermediate route. You'll ride through stunning scenery out to Coleford, Monmouth and up Golden Hill. You'll pass through Llandogo, with views from Whitestone and Cledding and cycle along the River Wye.

At 82 miles, the Gold is our most demanding route. Challenge yourself with a scenic route through the Forest of Dean, climbing Symonds Yat, Harrow Hill, Coppett Hill and Huntsham Hill.

The ride start/finish is at Chepstow Racecourse with free parking on site.

All participants will receive:

Fully signposted route for each distance option
First aid and mechanical support on the course
Frequent checkpoints with refreshments and snacks, plus a lunch stop for 57 and 82 mile riders
Free sports massage at the finish line
Bespoke finisher's medal
Photography
Chip timing
